EM Bonds (coming soon)
About
The strategy invests in emerging‑market sovereign and corporate bonds. The objective is to create a stable, monthly cash flow from coupons and redemptions that is reinvested under a predefined “wheel” schedule, maximizing total return and the compounding rate. The portfolio is constructed with a medium‑to‑long time to maturity (target 5-15 years), controlled duration, and broad diversification across countries, sectors, and individual issues
Recommended investment horizon: from 1 year
Who Is It For
Investors seeking a steady income stream and the benefits of compounding with a moderate‑to‑conservative credit risk profile
How It Works
Term and structure. Focus on 5-15 years to maturity; floating‑rate notes, amortizing structures, and embedded options may be included; perpetuals are excluded
Currency. Priority to USD or EUR hard‑currency Eurobonds; local‑currency bonds may be added selectively with hedging where this improves the risk/return profile
“Wheel” construction. Select issues with staggered coupon dates (typically semi‑annual) so that cash flows arrive every month; where needed, use bonds with quarterly coupons and/or scheduled redemptions to fill any “empty” months
Reinvestment. Coupons and amortizations are redeployed within 2-5 business days into the most attractive issues while maintaining target limits and duration; any residual cash may be parked temporarily in money‑market instruments
