Risk Profiling

At Value, we believe that successful investing starts with understanding yourself. Risk profiling is a comprehensive assessment process designed to match your investment preferences, financial situation, and behavioral tendencies with the most suitable investment strategies on our platform

Why Risk Profiling Matters

Traditional investment questionnaires often provide generic results that don't capture the full picture of who you are as an investor. Value takes a different approach by combining three critical dimensions:

Financial Analysis – Understanding your investment goals, time horizon, and capacity to handle market volatility

Behavioral Assessment – Identifying how emotions and cognitive patterns influence your decision-making during market fluctuations

Personalized Matching – Connecting your unique profile with investment products that align with your needs and comfort level

This process ensures that recommended strategies on the platform are tailored specifically to you, reducing the risk of mismatched investments and improving your long-term investment experience

How It Works

Risk profiling at Value is conducted through an interactive conversation with Wault, your investment consultant. The process takes approximately 15-20 minutes and consists of two main parts:

Part 1: Investment Profile Assessment

During this phase, Wault will ask you about:

  • Your primary investment objectives and what you hope to achieve

  • The timeframe for your investments and when you might need access to funds

  • Your current financial situation and capacity to handle potential losses

  • Your experience with different asset classes, from stocks and bonds to digital assets

  • How you typically respond to market volatility and portfolio drawdowns

Part 2: Behavioral Finance Evaluation

The second phase explores the psychological aspects of investing:

  • How you make decisions under uncertainty

  • Your emotional responses to gains and losses

  • Patterns in how you process financial information

  • Tendencies that might influence your investment discipline

What Happens After Completion

Once you finish the risk profiling interview with Wault, your responses are analyzed using methodologies aligned with global investment standards. The system evaluates:

  • Risk Tolerance – Your psychological comfort with investment uncertainty

  • Risk Capacity – Your financial ability to absorb potential losses

  • Risk Need – The level of returns required to achieve your goals

These three dimensions are synthesized into a comprehensive investor profile that categorizes you into one of several risk categories: conservative, moderate, balanced, growth-oriented, or aggressive

Using Your Risk Profile
